Plumbing Engineer

Comprehensive Engineering is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Plumbing Engineer. This position requires plumbing and fire protection engineering skills along with written and verbal communication skills.

Education and registration:
Bachelor’s degree
PE license or CPD certification preferred or ability to become licensed or certified

Experience and skills:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience
Experience with design for plumbing and fire protection systems
Experience with the International Plumbing Code
Experience with CAD and Revit is a plus

Electrical Engineer

Comprehensive Engineering is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Electrical Engineer. This is a full time position.

Education and registration:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
PE license preferred or ability to become licensed

Experience and skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience
Strong knowledge of codes and standards including National Electrical Code
Experience with electrical systems for buildings
Knowledge of energy codes including ASHRAE and LEED
Knowledge of fire alarm and low voltage systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Experience with CAD and Revit is a plus

Job Responsibilities:
Select equipment, building power and lighting systems
Project management and design team leadership
Maintain positive client relationships on projects
Develop systems in compliance with Life Safety codes
Prepare construction drawings and specifications
Coordination with engineering disciplines and architects
Review submittals and respond to contractor RFIs
